Lira`s Restaurant in Lingle

NOOOOOOOO. We were camping in the area and decided to give ourselves a treat and go out for dinner. Since Mexican food is our favorite we came here to eat. We were seated quickly and our server got us our water and took our order. Within minutes our food arrived. How was this possible? Of course. Pre-made. The food was barely warm. The chips came out of a bag, salsa was like tomato juice. The food was just not good. Restaurant was not crowded so there was no excuse for poor quality food. There are limited dining choices in this tiny town but this place does NOT warrant a visit...

We had a party of 11 people and waited for over an hour to be seated. When we finally got a table they didn't even seat us all at the same table. They were all over the place taking our orders because we were not on the same ticket. The food arrived in the same fashion. The food wasn't hot but luke warm like it was sitting under a desk lamp in a dorm room. I ordered 2 smothered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. It was ok and small. I am pretty sure inmates in a prison limited to ramen and dehydrated beans could put on a better spread. The chips and salsa which was not ordered was not complementary but part of the bill! Nothing about this experience was enjoyable minus the company at the table. I would give it less stars if possible. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nothing to special. They basically only had beef for meat. Not that good service. The only thing that had flavor was the deep fried taco my brother ordered. The salsa comes in a syrup dispenser, that you have to twist the top off, and then pore the salsa into tiny cups. Kinda gross over all, wouldn't recommend it. Also I had an enchilada with beef and cheese

Was very good today. I had smothered enchilada and a tank, Tim had smothered burrito dinner.

I’ve been going here my entire life and still my favorite. I plan entire vacations around them being open when I visit home.

Food was was OK, clean and pleasant, the place parking lot was full when we drove by and when we returned for a late lunch still full. This number of customers is not normal for here but they did have good service for would stop in again

I had to Google to see if it was still open. We ate there as often as possible in college! I hope to travel back that way just to eat at Lira's!

Service was super slow, food isn’t authentic.. probably as Mexican as it gets for the area. Their burritos were tiny and the tortillas weren’t even heated up.. super pricey for what you get and didn’t taste like anything. The only acceptable thing they had was the salsa.

Excellent food and fast friendly service!

We stopped here twice on our vacation. It is extra quaint and while the menu and flavor profile is simple, they do a nice job. I got the beef tostadas and they were great. My daughter enjoyed her soft taco. The best part is definitely the salsa. I would not go here if I were in a big hurry. Take your schedule down a notch and enjoy the extra time with your family.

It is always good food. We go there to eat at least once maybe even twice a week to eat. I would recommend anybody too eat there if you are in the Torrington Wyoming area.

Best cheese enchiladas I've ever had in my life!

It was mediocre at best when it comes to Mexican food. The service is was also not very good, they made me feel like I shouldn't be there as well. Overall, it was a bad experience.

Its good Mexican food, unique, creative, and has homemade chips and salsa. The food isn't very flavorful however, it gets the job done but can definitely use more spice, I recommend coming here if you want to feed a family of picky eaters that like relatively bland Mexican food.

Outstanding food and service!

So much more than you can see from the road! Their tacos are amazing! The service is beyond fabulous! Everything about them was much greater than we expected and we are looking forward to returning for more!

Nothing quite like Lira's. Best food for hundreds of miles!My buddies and I were traveling home from the Sturgis bike rally when we noticed Lira's was open. That was the best meal imaginable. We stuffed ourselves with tacos, enchiladas, rice... All that. We will be planning our return trip next year with Lira's hours of operation in mind!
